Today I will mostly be repairing and restoring this delightful blast from the past. It is a 1979 colour (advertised as 'color,' bloody yanks!) "Space Fever," the faithfully copied version of Space Invaders, but done by Nintendo and not Namco. It is all working, but the lady who had it kept it in her garage (I know, sacrilege isn't it?) and I have been asked to help get it back to it's former glory. A squirt of paint here, a bit of dusting there, and a few switch replacements, and I reckon we could be onto a real little gold mine in a local pub. All we need now is a pint of Double Diamond, and a Vinyl Jukebox playing Dexy's Midnight Runners, and we will be away.
