Whilst reading a Webuser magazine in Devon, I found a useful link. This country has a real fixation with phone numbers that make the owners money. These 08 numbers also cost the dialler money, and even if you have an inclusive phone package with your service provider, they still cost you money. Also, if you're not in the UK, these numbers might not even work. And so, some bright spark came up with Say no to 0870, a delightfully simple but effective website that finds you a geographical number for an 08 company. So far it's worked on everything I've thrown at it, except dial up numbers for internet service providers. Give it a try.
