Life on Mars, for those that live on it, was a most excellent TV series first on TV about 3 years ago. The story was basically every other detective drama dressed up in a nostalgia fest, and was hugely popular. And so it was with great disappointment that they decided to finish it after only the second series.
Then they announced they're making a spin off series. We all know how successful spin offs can be, such delights as Frasier (from "Cheers"), Grace and Favour (from "Are You Being Served?") and Count Duckula (from "Dangermouse"). And so it is with trepidation that I shall sit down tomorrow night at 9pm to watch the new series Ashes to Ashes. Knowing Gene Hunt's back makes it all worth it, and so this is the video of the week.
