Meanwhile...

Elsewhere in another parallel world, John's school have been in touch. They don't think he'll get his IT (or whatever it's called this week) GCSE, so they have removed him from that option with the aim of him doing Art and design instead. He has no desire in art and design, and computers are his world. His father (me, before you ask) can offer more then sufficient help to him on the subject and his desire to learn in that subject should be more then enough to convince a teacher that that will help him in the future. But oh no, they are telling me he's more then capable of getting a grade C in Art, a subject that is no good to man nor beast unless you have an interest in it.
