Rikaitch: King of Excellent (according to Scaryduck)

Hey everyone,

Just to update you on Rik. He spent a very long day from 7am till 4:15 waiting for surgery. True to form he waited in good spirits, trying to be jovial. He was told the surgery would only take 40 minutes, however, it took over 2 hours. It was 7:50 before he got back to the ward. He was in a tremendous amount of pain. I am just hoping he can get some relief by sleeping as the morphine doesn't seem to be doing the trick.

I know when he's finally fit and able he'll be blogging and actually putting a funny slant on all of this, how, from my viewpoint, I don't know, but no doubt he will. Either Rik or I will keep you updated tomorrow.

Please keep him in your thoughts for now.
